Now in our tenth year of operation, the IndyFringe is an established annual event that makes Indianapolis a great place to live, to see live theatre, and to be an artist. Through your generous support, we have also purchased the IndyFringe Basile Theatre - providing you with emerging and established artists and entertainment at a great value throughout the year.
Support from individual donors like you is the key to our long-term success. Because of our commitment to the community and to helping artists perform new and exciting work, the IndyFringe is largely funded through the generosity of individuals, grants, and community partners. We know that you are some of the most enthusiastic supporters in Indianapolis, and we need your support now more than ever! In our 2013 Festival, you helped us return $l22,000 to artists through ticket sales for the annual festival. As an organization, we need your help now to raise funds to extend the IndyFringe building, provide ADA accessibility, and an 8th stage for the 2014 festival!
Fringe Festivals are becoming a major force in the world wide theatre community today. Did you know that shows likeUrinetown, The Drowsy Chaperone, The King's Speech, and My Big Fat Greek Wedding all started as fringe festival productions? At the Fringe, you never know when you might be watching the next Broadway Smash Hit!
We believe that IndyFringe is for everyone, and we are unjuried and uncensored. Please show your support today and help us bring you more of what you have grown to love over the years.
