in conjunction with The Golden Girls: The Lost Episodes
Sara Leah Miller is an artist from Cincinnati, Ohio. She studied art at Greenville University in Illinois.
Diagnosed with relapsing/remitting MS in 2004, she found over time that working with felt helped maintain the coordination and strength in her hands, which were often affected. What began as a hobby organically grew into a form of therapy for her MS and then into a creative passion.
She was inspired to create works based on the Golden Girls because of the cultural touchstone it has become for generations of fans with its themes of independence, tolerance, advocacy, forgiveness, and friendship.
