“Stark Naked” is a one-woman play in which the artist Margaret Stark and graduate student Carrie Cohen explore the choices women make in their lives and the consequences of those choices.
ABOUT THE PLAYWRIGHT
Although Carol Weiss is making her debut as a playwright, she has been writing about artists and the arts for more than 30 years. Born and raised in St. Louis, she has lived in Indianapolis since 1979. For many years, she was a columnist and feature writer for the statewide arts magazine “Arts Indiana.” With Judith Vale Newton, she has co-authored three books; among them is the award-winning, “Skirting the Issue: Stories of Indiana’s Historical Women Artists,” one of the sources for, “Stark Naked.”
