“Take My Hand”

“Take My Hand” (A Blues Man’s Path to Gospel)

Playwright: Lillie Evans

It's 1932 and Thomas Dorsey, a self-taught pianist, is well on his way to being one of the most prolific blues talents in blues history. His vision is to marry church music with blues rhythms—it was called gospel. Pressured to choose between the blues he loves and the music he wants to change, what should he do and what price will he pay to find the answer.

The play was granted a reading at 2017 National Black Theater Festival.

"Going...Going...Gone" returns to Indy Fringe!
"Going...Going...Gone" comes home to the Fringe Building for a special benefit for Indy Fringe. Come join the fun as performers from the 2017 Indy Fringe Festival improvise their way through a live auction in which YOU do their bidding … and then take home whatever you buy with play money. Now a staple of Indy’s theatre scene, "Going...Going...Gone" was launched at the 2012 Indy Fringe Festival and has taken Ed’s Auction House to audiences as far away as New Jersey.

White Collar Sideshow

WCS is a Shock-n-Roll band that has toured full time for 9 years. Two drummers and a bass player in a cage provide the live soundtrack to an original film that plays on stage. The film is loosely based on the 7 deadly sins. The performers interact with the crowd and offer an unforgettable live experience.
